My name is Shalicia West Thomas, and I am a Cultural Health Facilitator and Creator of the CHI For You Daily Health Journal. And, like you, when I first started my health journey, I, too, felt like getting healthy was frustrating. I hated having to watch what I ate, and I hated working out even more. But, you know when that all changed for me? When I recognized being in good health is a requirement of God. As an individual of faith, I began to create a healthy lifestyle I love that also gives God glory.
